The best part is that you can customize it with as many or as few elements as you like.
Choose a Hollow Tree Stump as the Centerpiece
The tree stump is the heart of the display, so look for one with several natural openings and a hollow interior. Those openings become windows into the Enchanted Hollow, allowing mist to drift out while mysterious glowing eyes peek from inside.
A realistic resin tree stump designed for aquariums or terrariums works surprisingly well because it already has the weathered bark texture, roots, and multiple hollow chambers needed to create a believable woodland scene.
Creative ideas
- Place the stump slightly off-center instead of perfectly in the middle.
- Surround the roots with artificial moss, tiny mushrooms, acorns, or pinecones.
- Let a few autumn leaves rest naturally around the base.
Create a Hidden Mist Chamber
